The Colorado County Clerk’s Association is once again offering scholarships to Colorado high school seniors. A total of five scholarships of $1000 each will be awarded statewide, one from each region of the state. The Southern Region of the Clerk's Association will be awarding the second place applicant a $500 scholarship.

The scholarship application and information are available on the Rio Grande County website at www.riograndecounty.org under the Clerk’s tab. Applications have also been sent to all Rio Grande County schools. Interested individuals may contact their school administration for an application or the Rio Grande County Clerk & Recorder’s office at 719-657-3334.

Applicants can email their application packet to [email protected], mail it to Rio Grande County Clerk at P. O. Box 160 Del Norte, CO 81132 or return it to the Clerk’s office at 965 Sixth Street in Del Norte. All packets must be received by the Clerk no later than March 30th.

A winner will be selected from each county and then forwarded to the region for the regional winner. Awards will be announced by May 2nd. For more information, call the Clerk’s office at 719-657-3334.
