Coleman graduates from school of banking

Ty Coleman

BOULDER — Ty Coleman, Rio Grande Savings & Loan’s Branch Manager and mayor of Alamosa graduated from The Graduate School of Banking at Colorado hosted on the campus of the University of Colorado in Boulder.  The Graduate School of Banking at Colorado (GSBC) has developed business leaders within the banking industry since 1950.

GSBC’s programs are designed to provide community bankers with a broadened knowledge of the banking industry and the tools to tackle the challenges of an ever-changing economic environment. “I learned so much about the importance of community banking over the past two years in the GSBC program and I will use what I have learned to serve the people in our San Luis Valley community. I cannot place a value on the education, connections, friendships and experiences I gained as a result of attending the program. I am thankful for Rio Grande Savings & Loan’s Board and Staff for supporting and encouraging me throughout this wonderful experience!"
