Colorado ABOTA Chapter honors Judge Pattie Swift

DENVER — The Colorado Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates presented 12th Judicial District Chief Judge Pattie P. Swift with the 2017 Judicial Excellence Award on Friday, November 10.

Judge Swift is the first honoree from the historic San Luis Valley to receive this award. This annual award recognizes the recipient’s outstanding contribution to the fair and impartial administration of justice.

The American Board of Trial Advocates is a national association of experienced civil trial lawyers whose primary mission includes the preservation of the right to a civil jury trial as guaranteed by the Seventh Amendment to the United States Constitution. Judge Swift was honored at the Colorado ABOTA Chapter’s Annual Judicial Excellence Dinner on November 10 at Cherry Hills Country Club.
