Community turns out for Adams State University free COVID19 testing

ALAMOSA, CO. (November 20, 2020) – Vehicles wound around the blocks near Adams State University in line for a free COVID19 test before the holidays. A total of 973 tests were administered on Friday, Nov. 20, with 687 utilizing the drive-through and 286 the walk-up option.

Free testing continues from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21. Community members will access the drive-thru testing area in the McDaniel parking lot from Third Street onto Richardson Avenue, which leads into the McDaniel parking lot. Vehicles will exit the testing site onto First Street. Walk-up is available in McDaniel Hall, enter through the west doors. Pre-registration is recommended but not required. On November 13, 415 Adams State students, faculty, and students were tested for COVID19 with 37 positive results.
