Connie Jean Dyer

Sanford resident Connie Jean Dyer, 77, passed away on December 13, 2021. She was born on July 16, 1944 in Alamosa, Colorado to James Leland and Louise (Mortensen) Dyer. Connie was a passionate Speech Pathologist and truly enjoyed her time educating and working with people, she still has great friendships with the people that she worked with. She took great pleasure is supporting local high school athletics and above all spending time with her family and friends. Connie was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by her siblings, Lorraine Larsen and Brent (Darlee) Dyer, her nieces and nephews, Kyle Larsen, Jeff Larsen, Dana Larsen, Rhett Larsen, Melissa Caldon, Cole Dyer Larsen, Ryan Dyer, Dewey Dyer, Gil Dyer, Trever Dyer, Megan Dyer, Mikela Miller, James Dyer and Lorraine, Brent and Bruce’s grandchildren, that she cared for like her own. As well as numerous other extended family and friends.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Bruce Dyer and Gil Dyer, her nephew Blaine Larsen and her niece Kacy Dyer Mortensen.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday December 21, 2021 at the Sanford 1st Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 12:45 pm at the church prior to the service. Interment will follow services in the Sanford Cemetery.
