Corrine M. Buitimea, 60, passed away March 14, 2023, in Pueblo, Colo.

Corrine was born on June 6, 1962, to Max and Clara Valdez of Center, Colo. She was the youngest of six children.

Corrine was the type of person to stop and talk with everyone. She loved to spend time with her family, watch her game shows, play games on her phone, and she loved to have movie nights with her grandchildren. She had a laugh that was sure to follow her wherever she went and a big heart always calling her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and whoever else around her hita and hito.

She is survived by her husband Gabriel Buitimea; children Savanna Garcia of Center, Misty Palacios (Joel) of Center; grandchildren Lluvia, Isaac, Elijah, Maelyn, Alexander, Jasmine, and Ismael; siblings Debbie (Jesse) LeDoux of Denver, Charlie (Lorretta) Valdez of Monte Vista, Duane (Jenny) Valdez of Center, Pauline Palacios of Center; sister-in-law Lorraine (Arnold) Valdez of Monte Vista; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Corrine was preceded in death by her son Celso Ruiz, parents Max and Clara Valdez, brother Arnold Valdez, nephew Jared Valdez, and Grandparents; as well as several extended family members. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. on March 31, 2023, at the Valley Church of the Nazarene in Monte Vista at 228 Madison St. Inurnment will follow services at the Monte Vista Cemetery in Monte Vista.
