Crowder welcomes Guard home

State Senator and veteran Larry Crowder was present for a welcome home ceremony at Dennis Campus, Denver Public Schools, for the 169th Field Artillery Brigade of the Colorado National Guard on Oct 1 when 100 brave men and women soldiers who had deployed December 2016 returned from Operation Inherent against ISIS.

The unit was responsible for high mobility artillery rocket system in Iraq and Syria and was reported very effective. Adjutant General of Colorado, US Air Force Major General Michael Loh said, “These soldiers made their mark in support of the war fight. They answered their call and left families and employers to fight for freedom and distinguished themselves honorably." Crowder added, “so proud of these service men and women.” Senator Crowder is shown with District Attorney George Braucher and son and Col. Lund. Brauchler is a colonel in the Reserves.
