Dance studio donates to SLVH Miner center

ALAMOSA — At the Friday, May 19 performance, Aubrey Lucero, owner of Mountain Valley Dance Studio, donated $1,000 from this spring’s dance recital ticket proceeds ($1 per ticket) to the Stephanie L. Miner Women’s Imaging Center.

The donation was in honor of Stephanie L. Miner’s daughter, McKinley, and her graduation from high school and many years of achievements dancing with MVD. McKinley has been a dancer at the studio since she was a little girl.

Aubrey did the same gesture several years ago when McKinley’s older sister Madison graduated.

This donation is another wonderful way Mountain Valley Dance touches the lives of families in the San Luis Valley.
