Del Norte Rotary recently donated to the Eagle Line Shuttle that offers bus service to communities in Rio Grande and Saguache counties. Presenting the donation is Rio Grande County Commissioner Gene Glover, left, representing Del Norte Rotary. Receiving the check is Connie Cole, executive director of the Chaffee Shuttle, which operates the Eagle Line, along with Tim Chittum, Eagle Line’s driver. The Eagle Line provides shuttle service to from Del Norte to Salida on Tuesdays, with stops along the route in Monte Vista, Center, Saguache, and Villa Grove. On Wednesday, the Eagle Line runs from Saguache to Alamosa, via Center, Del Norte and Monte Vista. For information on fares and schedule, call 719 530-8980
