FORT GARLAND — The dog days of summer are upon us and Fort Garland Museum is celebrating with Dog Day at the museum on Saturday, August 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Bring pups out for a day of play, or if for those who just enjoy seeing dogs having fun, join in a day of all things dogs. Shop vendors, learn about homeopathic animal care, enjoy a hot dog for lunch and snag some free puppy swag. 

The Valley Humane League will have Pups on Parade Adoptions and All 4 Paws Pet Hotel will be raffling off goodies. Dogs in costume will receive a gift. All proceeds benefit Valley Humane League.
