Dorothy Irene Sanchez, 81, of San Luis, Colorado went to be with the Lord on April 24, 2017.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Sanchez & son Ken Sanchez.  Dorothy is survived by her sister Mary Arreola, her children, Anita Olivas, Julie (Mike) Rodriguez, Rick (Deb) Sanchez; daughter-in-law Jennie Sanchez; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter, along with numerous nieces and nephews. 

Viewing and visitation will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Sangre De Cristo Catholic Church in San Luis.  Rosary/Prayer Service will follow at 10:00 AM, with Mass of the Resurrection following, also at Sacred Heart Church.  Interment will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in San Luis. 

The care of arrangements has been handled by Romero Funeral Home of San Luis.
