ALAMOSA — It’s the time of the year where spookiness is near….so come to the SLV Brewery for  bone-chilling music and beer! On Halloween, Wednesday, Oct. 31st, at the San Luis Valley Brewing Company there will be a FREE, 18 year and older, live concert by Sam Pace and the Gilded Grit.

The band has made a name for themselves since 2011 as staples in the Austin, Texas  music scene. These ‘road dogs’ are famous for their relentless 50-city U.S. tours--the band has an old school work ethic with the chops to match. Alamosa is lucky to host this talented group of rockers in Alamosa as part of their ‘Judgement Eve” tour!

Sam Pace comes to Alamosa hot off the stage of Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox in Denver and will move on to shows in Evergreen, Santa Fe, and 11 performances in Austin to finish out their Judgement Eve Tour. “As far as high energy shows are concerned, Austin music fans could not do much better that Sam Pace and the Gilded Grit” – Greg Ackerman, Austin Examiner

Over the past three years Sam has been peppered throughout the Austin Music Awards annual Top-10 lists. He has placed Top-10 for Musician of the Year, Best Song, Best Album, Best Album Art, Best Rock Band, Best Blues/Soul/Funk Band and two years in a row for Best Guitar Player and Best Male Vocals.

“Down and dirty rock n’ roll is hard to come by these days, even more difficult for it to achieve the level of success Pace has…” – Overload Austin

“We play Rock n’ Roll smooth and dirty, Soul music mean, and we’re not afraid to get a little weird,” says Pace. Check out their video for hit song “UnderTow” at their website:  wwww.sampacemusic.com
