VALLEY — San Luis Valley Health is pleased to welcome Sarah Lewing, MD to the Women’s Health Clinic. Lewing joins the Obstetrics and Gynecologists specialists, Drs. Robertson and Garrard, and is replacing Dr. Hernandez who has accepted the position as Chief Medical Officer.

Dr. Lewing received her bachelor degree from Texas A&M. She completed her Doctor of Medicine and residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston.

She has most recently practiced at Valley Women’s Healthcare, Valley Medical Center, Renton, Washington. She often spent summer vacations in South Fork and is looking forward to living in the San Luis Valley.

Dr. Lewing will be seeing patients in the Regional Medical Center Clinic in Alamosa and at the Monte Vista.
