VALLEY — Lauren Sonderegger, MD has joined Valley-Wide Health Systems.

She will see patients of all ages at the Sierra Blanca Medical Center.

Dr. Sonderegger earned her medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, and undergraduate degrees at Yale University.

She completed a family medicine residency in Seattle. Her special interests include women’s health, reproductive justice, care of underserved populations, addiction medicine, sports medicine, and challenges in delivery of rural healthcare.

Dr. Sonderegger is delighted to land in sunny Alamosa, where she seeks to both learn from and care for our vibrant and historic community. In her free time, she enjoys trail running, cycling, skiing, open water swimming, growing plants and learning about favorite local foods.
