ALAMOSA– Tickets and sponsorships are now on sale for the second annual Angelo Duarte Memorial MMA event at Adams State on Saturday, Nov. 17.

All proceeds from the fight will go to the ASU wrestling program for scholarships. Last year’s event raised $6,500 and a scholarship was awarded to Grizzly wrestler Ryan Rockford from Rio Rancho, NM.

Gold and silver level tables are available for the event as well as fight sponsorships, general admission at $30 and students at $15.

This year’s Angelo Duarte Memorial committee includes Rusty Johnson, Ty Coleman, Jason Medina, David Carson, Dave Heredia and Geneva Duarte. Jason Gonzales is the MMA promoter.

Tickets and sponsorships are available through any of the committee members.
