Capulin resident Elfego Flores, 66, passed away January 27, 2018 at his home peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Elfego was born on April 19, 1951 in El Mogote Guerro, Mexico, the son of Hermillio Flores and Natalia Leyva Flores. Elfego was an exceptional and loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos, gardening, hauling wood and spending as much time as possible with his grandchildren, family and friends.

Survivors include his Mother Natalia Flores of El Mogote Guerro, MX; son Jaime (Linda) Flores of La Jara, CO; three grandchildren MiAna Flores, SiEna Flores and Esias Flores all of La Jara, CO; sisters Luz (Berandino) Flores, Renya Flores, Micaela (Cruz) Flores, Maria Flores, Elvira (Arturo) Tapia, Fransica (Alfonso) Toral, brothers Romulo (Rosa) Flores and Abacu (Rosa) Flores. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Elfego was preceded in death by his father Hermillio Flores and one brother Santos Flores.

Cremation was chosen and services will be held at a later date. The care of arrangements have been entrusted to Romero Funeral Home of Alamosa.
