Manassa resident Eutilia “Tillie” S. Romero, 72, passed away peacefully March 24, 2021 at her home under hospice care with her loving family by her side. Tillie was born on April 12, 1948 in Del Norte, Colorado, the beloved daughter of Eduardo Medina and Maria Victoriana Suazo Medina. Tillie was an exceptional and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin and friend who enjoyed cooking, crocheting, playing games on her phone and spending as much time as she could with her children and grandchildren. She devoted her life to caring for her family and she will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her daughters June (Juan) Rodriguez, Ernestine (Modesto) Rodriguez, Dillie Romero all of Manassa, CO; sons Ernest Romero of Del Norte, CO; Buddy (Lucinda) Romero of San Antonio, CO; Lee Romero, Leon Romero both of Manassa, CO; grandson she raised Joe Pena of Manassa, CO; daughter-in-law Vivian Vigil of Antonito, CO; 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Tillie was preceded in death by her parents Eduardo and Maria Medina, step-son Geno Romero, grandchildren Tony Chavez and Kenisha Romero.
