ALAMOSA — The Colorado Nurses Association District 6, SLV AHEC and the Women’s Citizenship Club of Alamosa invite the public to attend the free presentation “The Many Faces of Addiction- It’s Not Just Drugs” by Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Aimee Techau.

The presentation will be held on Tuesday, October 2nd from 6– 8 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church at 2005 Mullins Ave. in Alamosa.   

Aimee will cover the science of addiction, when does substance use become abuse, other addictions including video gaming, gambling and sex addictions and review of treatment options available.
