ALAMOSA — The Alamosa School District Wellness Committee and Drug Task Force would like to invite community members of all ages to the First Annual Wellness Games, with the theme, “Kick Drugs Out of Our Community.”

This free community event will take place on Thursday, August 2nd from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Alamosa High School Stadium. 

Two kiddie pool kickball fields with age divisions, corn hole and other yard games as well as free hamburgers, hotdogs and snacks will be provided. Bring a team or join one when you arrive.

The event’s goal is to create a healthy community where everyone can participate and achieve success. This event is intended to bring the community together to promote health, wellness, substance abuse prevention and education on resources within the community that are available.
