Food safety classes set

ALAMOSA—Basic Food Safety classes will be offered on Saturday, Oct. 21 at the SLV Health Education & Conference Center, 1919 Main St, Alamosa. This training was developed by the National Restaurant Association for entry level individuals who prepare food for the public.

The class costs $25 and includes three hours of hands-on classroom instruction. A certificate of achievement is awarded at the completion of the course.

Two separate sessions are offered from 8-11 a.m. and 12-3 p.m.
