BLANCA — Calvary Blanca church is offering a free “Cooking Matters” class. The class will begin on Tuesdays starting April 17 and ends May 29. Classes are from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Each week a meal will be cooked together; recipients will receive free groceries to take home, and upon graduation they will get a free knife and cutting board.

Calvary Blanca is located at 607 Broadway Avenue, in Blanca (one block north of Highway 160).
