Full steam ahead for Narrow Gauge fundraiser

Marlena Antonucci, president of the Narrow Gauge Book Co-op’s board of directors, explains ownership and membership levels on Friday during the kickoff fundraiser event to reopen the store. “Create the bookstore you want to see,” said Antonucci.

That evening the co-op raised $19,761 and they have until June 1 to reach their $89,000 goal to cover a year’s worth of operating costs and stay at the same location at 602 Main Street. There are three more open houses at the bookstore on May 9, 15, and 24 from 5:15-7 p.m.
