CONEJOS — Amaya Garcia-White Buffalo is running for 2018-2019 Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Fiesta Queen. Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Fiesta will be celebrated December 7, 8 and 9th in Conejos. The fiesta queen title is awarded to the candidate that raises the most funds to help cover the expenses and upkeep of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish also known as the oldest church in Colorado.

In support of Amaya’s campaign her family will be having a bake sale and selling raffle tickets at the Alamosa Wal-Mart on Saturday, December 1st from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. and Sunday, December 2nd from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Come by and support Amaya’s fundraising efforts or to make a donation.

Deadline for donations is December 7th.
