Gasper Blea

Gasper Blea went into God’s arms on January 8, 2018. He was born to Salomon and Mary Louise (Mondragon) Blea on July 9,1955.

Gasper was a wonderful husband, a proud father, a loving son and known to many as a friend to be counted on.

His life was filled with service to his country as a wildland firefighter for 14 seasons with the USFS and to his community as a firefighter with the Woodmoor-Monument FD. He continued to serve his community with his fire mitigation business.

His interests included sports, hunting, music of many genres and helping friends and family.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lorie (Frasier) Blea; his daughter Alyssa (Klint); his son Cody; his siblings Bobby (Sally) Blea, Amy (Rudy) Martinez, Georgia (Bob) Cowan, Felipe (Elaine) Blea, Helen (Allen) Beasley, Stella (Dennis) Fox, Candi (Oliver) Àtencio, Leo Blea, Gerald (Lori) Blea, John (Rachel) Blea, Jess (Vicki) Blea; his in laws Donald Frasier, Robert (Rhoda) Frasier, David (Christine) Frasier, Richard (Nancy) Frasier, Henry Frasier, Bruce Frasier; his aunts Barbara Mondragon, Eva Blea, Francis Duran; his uncles Claudio Blea and Felix Gonzales; and numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.

A memorial service is scheduled for January 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Monument
