Genevieve Angelina Replogle (Gallardo) passed away in the Seattle Washington area on May 24th, 2022, after a nearly 20 year battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Genny is survived by Jan Replogle, loving husband of nearly 45 years and daughter, Jessica Replogle-Hruby.
Genny is also survived by her sister’s, Merlinda Marquez, Veronica Malouff, Barbara Romero, Carolyn Garcia, her brother, Orlando Gallardo, and their families.
Genny is predeceased by her brother Eugene Gallardo.
She was born in Antonito and graduated from Antonito High School in 1965. She attended business college in Denver, before going to work for Continental Airlines. She spent many years at Continental before moving to the Seattle area, where she spent many years at Alaska Airlines.
Genny and Jan raised their daughter, Jessica in the Seattle area where they spent the last 38 years.
She enjoyed music (Motown), travel (the world), but mostly raising Jessica and enjoying her last few months with her granddaughter, Mila Hruby.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held in Arlington, Washington for close family and friends. A memorial in the Valley is tentatively planned for later this summer.
Internment will be completed in the Antonito area in the July – August timeframe.
