Getting sick at the top

Having been tested for COVID twice, I find myself amazed at news reports from the White House.

#45 was hospitalized for three days after a positive test result, sore throat and symptoms galore, but the news wasn’t at all accurate.

This is the President, kids, and we know what COVID is and does. To declare himself well and go home isn’t fair to the next person who must be hospitalized.

His doctor is an osteopath, different from a medical doctor, and gave conflicting, if not downright confusing reports on the POTUS’ progress. Other physicians stood motionless.

Normally, someone with full-blown COVID is hospitalized for more than 14 days, with no visitors admitted. TV news interviewed a man who had been hospitalized 35 days before he tested negative.

POTUS didn’t have visitors, he went out to take a ride and wave to a growing crowd of irrational, screaming fans. I would have believed them more if they knelt and prayed.

When he returned to the White House, which reportedly has a great small hospital on-site, why did he yank off his mask as soon as aides and others clustered around him for a photo-op?

Several persons who were at his introduction of a woman he would like to see inducted into the Supreme Court have since tested positive.

People who have opinions about the man write books. I was planning to, but a friend said, “Go ahead and buy, then I can borrow it from you.”

That’s when I realized that the authors were people He had fired. I stopped watching “apprentice” shows back when humiliating others was his and Ivanka’s main role.

The fact that he was elected to the highest post in the land didn’t make it look any better and didn’t give him carte blanche to insult other people with tweets.

Now, he has not allowed the people to know the truth, citing privacy concerns.

If that’s the case, why the mini-motorcade and the mask removal drama?

I prayed for his health, I still do. I also pray about the upcoming election.

Just go vote and realize the ballot isn’t part of the script for the next TV show.
