ALAMOSA — As the holiday season is underway, La Puente Outreach Service Center has once again begun planning for the Annual Community Christmas Party. This year the party will be held on Saturday, December 16th from 12-3 p.m. at the La Puente Shelter. Gift donations are greatly needed and always welcome! If everyone in the community donates “Just One Gift,” La Puente will be able to meet the goal of providing every guest with a Christmas gift during this wonderful season! The shelter is looking for donations of new gifts valued between $8 to $10 for both boys and girls all ages 0-18, as well as adult male and female gifts. The shelter would also appreciate any donations of Christmas wrapping paper and tape. Monetary donations for gift purchases are also accepted. Donations will be accepted through Friday, December 15th at 929 State Ave in Alamosa or staff is also happy to pick up donations. Call La Puente at 719-587-3499.
