Grizzles wrap up Pack Invite in sixth

PUEBLO—The final day of the Pack Invite hosted by Colorado State University-Pueblo saw the Adams State University Grizzlies women's golf team finish in sixth spot, after a final team score of 644 (+140).

Leading the way for the Grizzlies on Day Two, was Jessica Guajardo. Guajardo shaved off two strokes from the previous day's round, to shoot an 83. She finished in a tie for 12th with Olivia Brock of Northwestern Oklahoma State University with her two day total of 168 (+24).

Taylor Hackett, who led the way for Adams State in Round One, carded a second round score of 92 (+20). Hackett finished in 21st with her two-round total of 175 (+31).

Kylie Torres finished in 26th with her two-round total of 212 (+68).

Host team, CSU-P won the tournament after shooting a team score of 314 on Day Two, for a two-day total of 630 (+54). Metro State University took second after shooting a two-day team total of 653 (+77), and Dodge City Community College placed third with their two-day total of 669 (+93).

Taking individual honors was Jacquelyn Porman of CSUP, as she carded rounds of 73, 75 to finish with a two-day total of 148 (+4). Lindsay Gullikson of Metro State finished two strokes behind Porman with her two-day total of 150 (+6), and rounding out the top three was Courtney Ewing, also of CSUP, who finished with a two-day total of 152 (+8).

Up next for the Grizzlies is the Maverick Spring Invitational hosted by Colorado Mesa University on April 17th-18th at The Golf Club at Redlands Mesa (Grand Junction).
