ALAMOSA— Have you dreamed about owning your own home? Habitat for Humanity is accepting applications for homeownership in Alamosa. Habitat for Humanity is an international housing ministry serving low-income households who have been unable to receive a traditional home loan through conventional lending sources. Applicants contribute 500 hours of “sweat equity,” time and labor, to the building of the homes and volunteering with the organization. Construction is done with the help of hundreds of volunteers.
