Retired educator and all around great guy Harold Benson of Del Norte blows out the candles on his birthday cake during his 90th birthday celebration in Del Norte on Saturday. (His birthday was Tuesday, January 15.) More than a hundred friends showed up to help him commemorate this milestone. Many photos of years gone by were on display including the photo of a handsome young Harold in uniform.
