Alamosa Colorado resident Helen Freel, born on August 28, 1948 passed away on October 17, 2018 under hospice care in Denver Colorado.

Helen was an artist and could draw almost anything. She also liked to sew and sewed many Barbie doll clothes for her nieces dolls. She also made all of her own clothes. She was an avid NBA fan and loved the Denver Nuggets. She also liked the Denver Bronco’s. She liked making jigsaw puzzles and enjoyed crossword puzzles.

Helen is survived by brothers Dan Freel (Cathy), Mosca, Colorado, Ron Freel, Nyssa, Oregon, sisters Rita Cooley (Bob) Mosca, Colorado, Glenda Biggs, Moffat, Colorado, Shari Korton, Nampa, Oregon. Also several nieces and nephews.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents mother Betty Biggs, stepfather Elmer Biggs, father Edgar Freel and brother Douglas Freel.

Cremation was chosen and there will be no service at this time.
