ALAMOSA — Residents are invited to participate with the Alamosa Tree Board and Alamosa Department of Parks & Recreation in planting trees for Arbor Week through the project “Greening Alamosa’s Airport Gateway Corridor Under Powerlines” at 12 and 4 p.m. on Friday, May 4, at State Avenue near the Alamosa Cemetery entrance. Bring a shovel. There will also be shovels available for those who do not have one.
