'Her Voice Uplifted' concert is March 7


ALAMOSA—The Department of Music at Adams State University presents Her Voice Uplifted: A Concert Celebrating Female Composers at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, in Leon Memorial Hall.

This collaborative faculty recital is part of the Women's Week activities on campus and will feature performances by Matthew Valverde, tenor; Tracy Doyle, flute; Chiho Sugo, clarinet; Angela Winter, horn; Lancer Hardy, bass; James Doyle, marimba and drum set; Caleb Clark, piano; and William Lipke, piano.

The performance will include works by Schumann, Chaminade, Boulanger, Higdon, Brandon, Matsushima, and Beglarian. 

Admission is free to Friends of Music and members of Associated Students and Faculty; $1 for all other students; and $5 for general audiences. For more information contact the Adams State Music Office at 719-587-7621.
