Herman “Eppie” Epifanio Trujillo, 78

Pueblo former Capulin resident Herman “Eppie” Epifanio Trujillo, 78, passed away November 10, 2017 at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, surrounded by his loving family. Herman was born on September 15, 1939 in Capulin, Colorado, the son of Manuel Vigil and Eufelia Trujillo. Herman served and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. When he finished his duties in the service, he went on to run his own landscaping business. Herman was a devoted and loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who enjoyed going on trips to Cripple Creek, going fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his daughter Katherine (Jacob) Stephenson of Colorado Springs, CO; son Mark Trujillo of Colorado Springs, CO; mother of his children Isabelle McClure of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren  Valerie, Angelica, Marcus, Anastasia, Desiree, Michael, Kira, great-grandchildren Aniyah, Xane and Sarayu, sisters Avelina (Jack) Cone and Beth (Charlie) Knowlton both of Wichita Falls, TX; cousin Pat Martinez of Denver, CO., as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Herman was preceded in death by his parents Manuel Vigil and Eufelia Trujillo, wife Rosalina Sais Trujillo, one sister Adela Vigil and one grandmother Margarita Trujillo.

A Vigil Service with Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Capulin. A Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 11:00 AM also at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Capulin Cemetery with full military Honors. The care of arrangements have been entrusted to Romero Funeral Home of Alamosa.
