The Alamosa Parks and Recreation High Altitude Challenge Kids’ running race series consists of three races on consecutive Friday afternoons starting September 10th and ending September 24th. Participants who compete in all three races will receive a t-shirt. This activity is FREE!!

Race start and finish are at the Lee Soccer fields adjacent to the Alamosa Family Recreation Center. Race covers several types of terrain- grass, gravel, dirt, and more. There are 2 Divisions:

- 10 and under: race is approximately 1 mile

- 11-14: race is approximately1.5 miles

Older division races first, starting at 5:30 PM.  Younger division begins after older ones finish.
