ALAMOSA — Interested in becoming a hospice volunteer? You are welcome to join our team of dedicated, talented, compassionate volunteers and staff who visit individuals and families in the home; assist with office tasks; and embark on new, creative projects! Hospice especially needs volunteers to visit persons in the far reaches of the San Luis Valley such as Moffatt, Saguache, Creede, Antonito, and San Luis.

A Hospice Volunteer Training is scheduled for Thursday, March 8, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Hospice del Valle Office at 514 Main Street in Alamosa. The theme for this training is “Let Everyone Shine.” The trainings are meant to be meaningful and enjoyable with the participants often become fast friends.
