Homeland Security Investigations, a part of Immigration and Custom Enforcement conducted a raid Tuesday afternoon at Calvillo’s Mexican Restaurant in Alamosa.

After the raid, the parking lot of the local restaurant was empty. The owners of the restaurant were unavailable for comment.

When contacted, Alethea Smock, public information officer of DHS, said the event was part of an “ongoing investigation” and no information would be released until the investigation is complete. She also said any charges would come out of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Denver.
