Inez R. Vigil Serrano passed away on March 31, 2017.  She was born on February 21, 1938 in San Luis, Colorado to Fermin Vigil and Beatrice Vigil.

She married her sweetheart, Juses (John) Serrano on May 1,1960 in San Luis, Colorado.  Together they had 5 children and were married for 56 years.

Inez enjoyed crocheting, arts and crafts, fishing, camping, and had a fulfilling career at Crestwood Care center for 26 years.  Her grandchildren were the joy of her life.  She spent the last 6 weeks at the South Ogden Post-Acute Care under their watchful care.

She is survived by her husband John, her children; Theresa (Mark) Serrano Hansen, Ruby (Don) Serrano Morris, Larry J. (Denise) Serrano, and Becky (Tom) Serrano; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; her brothers; Arnold, Modesto, and Alfonso; her sisters; Sister Helen, Lucille, Helen, Mary, and Rita.  She is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Regina Serrano, her parents, her sister, Bertha, and 2 great-granddaughters.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, from 6 to 7 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd, Ogden.  Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24th Street, Ogden. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
