VALLEY — The Division Engineer for Division 3 of the Colorado Division of Water Resources has announced that the irrigation season will begin on March 26 for irrigation structures within the following drainage areas:

*  Rio Grande (Water District 20)

* Alamosa Creek (Water District 21)

* San Luis Creek (Water District 25)

* Saguache Creek (Water District 26).

This announcement is to comply with the State Engineer’s policy number 2010-1 regarding the setting of an irrigation season in Division 3.  As of March 26, the irrigation season will be open for all areas of the San Luis Valley.
