James Hale, 55

South Fork, Colorado resident, James Hale, 55, passed away on March 5, 2017 at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, Colorado, with his loving family by his side. James was born on May 29, 1961 in Tucson, Arizona, the son of William Hale and Patricia Parkherst Hale.

James was a great husband, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend who enjoyed camping, riding his dirt bike, being in the mountains, fixing cars and woodworking. On October 20, 2000, he was united in marriage to Vernitta “Bunny” Hale in Sierra Vista, Arizona. He was the love of Bunny’s life. He was also a self-employed mechanic, where he was able to enjoy his passion for fixing cars.

James is survived by his loving wife Vernitta Hale of South Fork, CO; daughters Jerri Lee of Paris, TX, Joan Marie McRee of Cedar Creek, TX and Julie Christine Costello of Austin, TX; son Scott Lepak of South Fork, CO and sister Connie Hagger of South, CO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

James was preceded in death by his parents William and Patricia Hale.

Cremation was chosen and services will be held in DeValls Bluff, Arkansas at a later date.
