

James ‘Jimmy’ Harold Workman

Former Alamosa resident, who was currently living in Rye, Colorado James “Jimmy” Harold Workman, 42 passed away Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023, at his home.
Jimmy was born Sept. 15, 1981, to Carl and Hilda (Shawcroft) Workman in Alamosa, Colo. He worked as a mechanic for most of his life, most recently for Swift. He was married to Jennifer Crowther of Manassa, Colo., and then to Julie Felthager of Colorado City, Colo.
Jimmy enjoyed spending time in the mountains, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed shooting. Jimmy served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in San Jose, Calif.
Jimmy is survived by his parents Carl and Hilda, his children Elijah and Melina Workman, and Trinity; his brothers and sisters Andrew (Teresa) Workman of Alamosa, Elizabeth Touchy of Alamosa, Daniel (Desire) Workman of Alamosa, and Mary (Jonathan) of Ogden, Utah; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and aunt and uncles.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his daughter Olivia Workman; his grandparents Joseph and Barbara Shawcroft and Harold and Betty Workman; and several aunts and uncles.
Cremation was chosen and a Memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 10 a.m., at the Rock Creek Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 300 Richardson Ave., Alamosa.
