Janell Jones Noble

On March 26, 2024, we said “See you later!” to Janell Jones Noble, 62, of Parachute, Colo., after a diagnosis of glioblastoma. Janell grew up in Hooper, the daughter of Jim and Edenia Jones, who preceded her in death. She was a Sangre de Cristo graduate and later graduated from Mesa College.

She was witty, smart, she used words with lots of syllables that the rest of us had to look up, she loved her family fiercely and her grandkids brought her great joy. It was mutual.

She also loved a good competition and beating her was not an easy task. One favorite card game was Phase 10. You must complete 10 different card combinations to win. Janell lived her life with the one and only “Phase” that mattered.

Phase 1: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. Love your neighbor as yourself.” Mark 12:30-31

She had accepted Christ as her personal Savior. She won!

Janell is survived by her husband, Darin Noble, along with his siblings that loved and accepted Janell as family; her daughter Danielle (James) Bailey, son Dustin, daughter Denie (Jake Swindell) Noble; her grandchildren Rylee, Carter and Kaylee May; her brother Robert (Beth) Jones of Hooper; and sister Jane (Mark) Arnold of Colorado Springs plus many nieces and nephews.

Janell’s Celebration of Life service will be April 27 at 2 p.m. at Grace Bible Church - 755 Spencer Parkway, Parachute, Colo.
