Jessica was the youngest of nine children and was endowed with a patience naturally belonging to her position in the family. She was constantly connecting with each of them.

In 2009, Jessica married her eternal companion, Calvin Wallet and they shared a beautiful life together. Calvin provided Jessica the fairy tale “Happily Ever After” she had hoped for in marriage. Jessica was also a devoted mother to the child that was to be adopted and she was also a cherished aunt to her many nieces and nephews, who adored her for her accepting love. She was always there to offer a listening ear, a hug, or just to offer a craft of some kind to keep them busy.

Jessica was a dedicated academic whose intelligence was founded on persistence. She graduated from Central High School in Grand Junction, Colo., in 2002. She completed several professional certificates and eventually moved on to work on her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Brigham Young University — Idaho.  She was passionate about learning and pulled her family into her studies at every opportunity doing their nails, or hair, or presenting on parenting skills. Her joy in learning and self-improvement were admired.
