ALAMOSA — Please join the SLV Chapter of Trout Unlimited for its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, November 28th at 7 p.m. at the SLV Health, Education and Conference Center at 1921 Main Street in Alamosa.
This month’s meeting will feature the annual holiday meeting “Flies and Lies,” an opportunity to swap stories and show skills (or lack thereof) in tying flies and practice telling fishing stories. Anyone is welcome to just show up to visit or bring their fly tying stuff and tie their favorite fly. Who knows, you may even get a chance to take a fly or two home with you! Those who will be tying should probably bring an extension cord and light.
This is also a chance to show off holiday culinary skills. Bring a favorite holiday treat (whether savory or sweet) to share with attendees.
As always the meeting is open to the public. Refreshments will be provided and a prize drawing will be held at the end of the meeting.
Trout Unlimited is dedicated to the conservation, preservation, and restoration of North America’s coldwater fisheries and their watersheds.
