Jordan Rae Trujillo

Alamosa resident Jordan Rae Trujillo, passed away at the young age of 28 on July 4, 2021. The beloved daughter of Wayne G. Trujillo Sr., and Laura Valdez, she made her big entrance into the world on June 12, 1993, in Alamosa, Colorado. Jordan loved to do bead work, color, listen to music and spend time with her grandmothers. Jordan was not with us as long as we would have loved for her to be, but she left so many memories with her family and friends that they will cherish for a lifetime and she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her parents Wayne G. Trujillo Sr. (Nicole Martinez) of Antonito, CO; Laura (Korey) Sandoval of Leadville, CO; husband Andrew Ruiz-Medina of Alamosa, CO; daughter Novalee Medina of Antonito, CO; brother Wayne Trujillo (Moriah Martinez) of Alamosa, CO; sister Bryanna Trujillo of Antonito, CO; grandmothers Sally Ann Velasquez of Alamosa, CO; Esther Duran of Antonito, CO; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Jordan was preceded in death by her grandfather George Trujillo, grandmothers Annie Velasquez and Adela Trujillo.    

A Vigil Service with Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Conejos. A Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 10:30 also at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will be held at the San Antonio Cemetery.
