Joseph Bailon wanted for felonies

ALAMOSA — The Alamosa County Sheriff’s Office is still looking for Joseph “Joe” Earl Bailon, 38, who has four felony warrants out for his arrest. Bailon was last seen in East Alamosa Thursday afternoon.

Sheriff Robert Jackson and other officers pursued Bailon around the intersection of San Luis Avenue and Third Street around 1 p.m. Bailon eluded apprehension and is still at large.

Bailon’s last known address was Alamosa. He is 6’1”, about 175 pounds with brown eyes and black hair and multiple tattoos including on his face.

Warrants for Bailon include:

• Warrant 1- felony-state and nation wide extradition, bond $25,000, assault 1 deadly weapon-serous bodily injury w/ deadly weapon /F3

• Warrant 2- felony-state and nation wide extradition, bond $25,000, felony menacing- weapon /F5; weapon-poss/previous offender conviction /F6

• Warrant 3- felony- state and nation wide extradition, bond $50,000, escape from felony conviction /F3

• Warrant 4- felony-state and nation wide extradition, no bond felony, Colorado Department Of Corrections, fugitive extradition unit flight - escape
