Joseph Juan Estrada

Joseph Juan Estrada, 24, was called by the lord unexpectedly on Saturday May 7th, 2022.  Joseph was born on April 22nd, 1998, in Alamosa to Yolanda Estrada (Scott Mondragon) and Jose Rodriguez.

Joseph was an exceptional man. He loved his family, his sports and swimming. He was a quiet person but had a fun-loving personality while in school he won trophies and played baseball and football. He was a running back making most of the points but was very modest about it.  He loved helping others, he was always quick to defend his family and friends from abuse by others.

Joseph is survived by his mother Yolanda. His father Jose. His son Malakai.  Sisters Nikkia (Jimbo), Ayanna and Brother Damien (Erica), Sisters Shaelyn Rodriguez, Kianna Martinez, Taileigh Valdez, Alexia Valdez, Brianna Cisneros, Brothers Khyari Rodriguez, Devin Madril, Lennie Valdez, Joshua Rodriguez, Irvin Rodriguez and special persons in his life Kiana her mom Sharon and her children who were close and special to him,  Grandma Annie his pops Roberto and her family uncle Joe (laura), Carlos(Antonette), Uncle Art (Ursula),  Grandfather Juan and his family Tere, Sardi, Oscar and Miguel, his Grandmother Lola, Aunt Monica and  Uncles Pablo and Chris

Joseph was preceded in death by his Stepdad Scott his baby sister Alexxis, Grandpa Jose Rodriguez, Uncles Juan and Socoro and many other family members and friends, too many to mention.

Joseph will live on in his son, who has much of his personality and in our precious memories of him. He will be missed but never forgotten he will live in our hearts forever.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday May 20, 2022, at 10:00am at the River of Life Church, 2602 Clark St. Alamosa, Colorado 81101. Inurnment will be at the San Luis Valley Cemetery, Monte Vista, Colorado. A reception to follow at 311 14th St. Alamosa, Colorado. 81101.
