While in Pueblo, Colorado, Mrs. Ocana entered into her heavenly eternal home where she met her husband, Gilbert Ocana, parents Alejandro and Luz Pacheco, siblings Ross Pacheco, Helen Contreras, Ruth Sandoval, Jose Alejandro Pacheco Jr, Dolores Arellano and her great granddaughter Alainy Ocana who were all waiting with Jesus as the Angels of God led her into the gates of heaven.

Mrs. Ocana leaves her children Rose Marie Auten (Gary), Gil Ocana (Philis) Vic Ocana, Larry Ocana, grandchildren Jeremy Auten (Mellissa), Kayla Ocana, Natalya Ocana, Step-grandchildren Alex Delgado and Veronica Mendoza.  Great grandchild

Aiden Ocana and several step grandchildren. Special Friends Luisa and Sam Valdez, Mrs. Rios and all those from the Senior Center to many to list, brothers and sisters from her church and her providers Loretta Sanchez and Angelica Lucero.

Mrs. Ocana was the Founder of Compassion Food Bank, after finding that other sources of food were qualifying individuals in which many seniors, because of a couple of dollars more that they received in social security would not qualify. Her sons established the food bank to help without having to qualify.

Mrs. Ocana was a very active member of her church the Apostolic Church of Jesus.

Serving as Treasurer for many years.  She was also active in the Senior Center of San Luis where she also served as Treasurer.

Everyone that got to know her stated, “If she doesn’t make it to heaven, I will never have a chance”.  She lived a life respecting others and always measuring what was right and wrong by what the Bible taught, which she studied daily.

She was very healthy all her life with a great mind and knew two days before she left, sharing with her daughter that in two days she would be going home, and she did. The Lord took her so very fast, yet with no pain and suffering.  God is good.
