Joyce was born to Juanita Medina-Archuleta and Eloy Archuleta on February 18, 1954 in Monte Vista, Colorado. Joyce was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was very proud of all her kids and had a great sense of humor and was the life of the party at family gatherings.

Joyce is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, Juan, her children, Renee Martinez of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Juanita Dressen (Jared), Jenny, Juan Jr., Julian and Jaime all of Riverside, California, her grandchildren, David and son Shane Munoz and Savanna Munoz-Londyn of Blackwell, OK, and her great-grandchildren of Blackwell, OK. She is also survived by her siblings, Cecil of Monte Vista, David of Ludlow, Massachusetts, Shirley (Mike) of Dallas, Texas, Sara (Daniel) of Ulysses, Kansas as well as her nieces and nephews.

Joyce is preceded in death by her father, Eloy, her baby daughter Sarita, her siblings, Sharon, Kathy, Toby and Joey and her grandparents, Joe (el Chota), and Eufelia (Felix), and Elene Vicente Archuleta.
