Juan Acosta 31, Monte Vista CO, passed away July 12th, 2021.

Juan was born on December 20th, 1989, to Juanita Montoya and Jose Paz Acosta.

Juan enjoyed drawing, listening to music, working out and cooking. His favorite pastime was spending time with his kids, family and watching movies.

He is survived by his mother Juanita Montoya and stepfather Mauricio Gaytan of Monte Vista CO; Father Jose Paz Acosta of Ojinaja Mexico; sons Juan Adrian and Juan Corleone Acosta; sisters Natasha (Gabriel) Montoya and Leticia Acosta of Monte vista CO; stepsister Yolanda (Martin) Gaytan and stepbrother Javier (Melanie) Gaytan of Denver, CO; stepsister Cindy (Francisco) Gaytan of Juarez, Mexico; 2 nephews, 2 nieces and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He followed in death by his brother Jose Jr. Acosta and his two aunts: Kathy Rivera and Lori “Lala” Ortega.

Cremation was chosen and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Lariat Community Baptist Church, 403 Lincoln Avenue, in Monte Vista Colorado.
